Was macht eigentlich Bertha Herz?

Euer Vater

You can also tell Uncle Solomon that Albert and Mrs Hirsch (this is the brother of Lina Hirsch from GG) are leaving Juni 27. The address of Mrs Kossmann’s cousin is: Mrs. Goldstone 23 W 73 Str. N. Y. C. You have already managed once to get her to send the sponsorship; perhaps you can do it again. But today with the sponsorship alone it is not done yet. The ticket for the ship is another issue. I do not think she will do it. I heard from Aunt Hans via the Red Cross. She is now at Camp Noé; hopefully she can get from there to the U.S.A. soon. It appears you had a great party at Herbert Schaffner. What about Bertha Herz? Is she still as chaotic as before? That Susi managed to hook another physician surprises me. Here is a good old saying for that: “When it rains, it pours” What do you think?

My wisdom is exhausted for today. My dear children, greetings to you and see you soon. Your father

Greetings to the inlaws+Uncle Salomon+Nachmanns
