Meine Lieben.

Religionsgemeinde in Basel 2 (Schweiz) Postfach 14150 Abt.

My beloved ones,

We have not had any news from you for three weeks; Hope you are well which we are as well, thank God. I look forward to your detailed report of the wedding, that did take place without any problems, I hope. It has turned cold here eight days ago, and we also have snow.

Still no word from Aunt Hans, and this is why I contacted the Religious Community in Basel 2 (Switzerland, Box 14150, Community Care department) in the hope that they know something. I would like to send her some food and warm clothes, which is permitted.

As I have heard the other day, our No. will be on after the holidays of June-July, which means, maybe in a year we can get out; Reverse: but that’s still a whole lot of water down the Rhine. There is very little new here; hopefully it stays that way. Greetings to the in-laws, the relatives, the friends and warm kisses to both of you from your loving father.

Hede and Mrs Kossmann send their greetings, too.
